Our trip to Carter and Holmes on Saturday October 27th, 2003 was another sucess. We had about 20 members there and were rewarded with a wonderful selection of orchids and a nice lunch. It was a great day if you missed this one, be sure not to miss another opportunity to visit Carter and Holmes.

Our trip to Lenette Orchids in Kannapolis, NC on September 29th, was very enjoyable. This will be for their Fall tent sale and Barbeque. Lenette made good their promise of 50% off in the "Tent". All the other plants were 20% off so we found some great buys. We don't know how many found their way to Lenette's as we left Friday and stayed in Charolete (grandson you know) for a few days. The Barbeque Lunch was very good, hope you tried the soup.

Our Fall Member Greenhouse Tour
Our tour of member greenhouse on the 26th of October 2002 was a great success. We went to four greenhouses and learned a great deal from each. I also should mention great snacks at each and lunch at Karen Gant's. We had wonderful weather which let us enjoy or lunch outside on Karen's patio

Up Coming TRIPS
We are currently planning a trip back to Carter and Holmes this fall. We also are working on either a fall or spring (or both) member greenhouse tour. We have done this before and it is alot of fun.
